Actually, I do think Dark Knight (the first one, not the mishmash sequel) was all that, especially for it's time. As Mark Evanier once said, you can take any story and nit-pick it to pieces. And as an example, did so with Pinocchio. Execution is a lot of it, and it was poorly done here. My review was not to tear down something that was built up so high, but the work itself.
