I like to enter contests and try to win mainly because I figure my odds go up if I try in the first place, as opposed to not try at all. Even though I didn't make it through the testing process for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? it was fun to try (but I'll admit it wasn't as much fun as if I did make it) and I'll try it again if given the chance. And there has been a few times when I have won contests.
