"It was the best of times, it was the worse of times..." Dickens might as well have been writing about thinking about moving when he wrote that. We were hoping that we would get to move into this place. We had another place that looked like we were going to move into, but that fell through at the last minute. And we weren't having that much luck looking at other places. They say that the real estate market is depressed, but not here.
And it looks like it's working out. We probably won't start moving for a couple of weeks yet, but I'm starting. While we were out yesterday, I picked up drawer boxes for my comics and started putting them in the boxes. I've been getting my comics bagged and boarded for years now, so it's just a matter of taping the back flap and filing them in order. I've got 2 long boxes filled up so far. One of the next things I need to do is get my books into boxes that can moved.
When we moved in here, there were a lot of things that were left for later, and concentrated on moving in. Those things that were put off weren't done for the most part and I don't want to repeat that mistake. We've got some ideas of how we want to get things set up and if we can pull it off we'll have a great place to live.
