Kathy's doing better, but she still has some congestion that's harder to cough out. She slept more last night. We were hoping she'd be better by now since her vacation starts today and she didn't want to be sick on it. I'm to pick her up from work in about an hour and see how she feels and go from there on our plans. I had suggested a while back going to Cracker Barrel to kick off her vacation, but we'll see. It's her taste buds being out of whack that's the main concern now.
Update 5pm: When I picked Kathy up, she said she had a nurse listen to her chest and suggested that she get a chest x-ray. Kathy's doctor isn't in today (and we're not sure if he's still her doctor, it's a long story) and the nurse suggested going down to the emergency room. We were going to go, but something didn't seem right, but you don't want to skimp on medical care. I called my mom who checked with a pharmacist who suggested taking Robitussin DM every 3 hours. Mom said if Kathy was feeling worse tonight we could take her in. We went and got drive-thru at Wendy's like Kathy wanted and I picked up some more Robitussin DM (I was giving her the CF version before) We got home and ate, I gave her the medicine, and mom suggested rubbing Vick's on her, and loaned us an air purifier. All that is helping her, as the congestion is starting to come out. She's in the living room now watching her decorating shows, so she's got to be getting better.
