They sent me two varieties of Grey Poupon: Harvest Coarse Ground and Hearty Spicy Ground. To allow the maximum taste of each mustard, I prepared a baloney sandwich with american cheese cut in half. On one half I applied the Harvest Coarse Ground and on the other the Hearty Spicy Ground. And instead of diet pop I had milk with it, to allow the cleansing of the palate in sampling each kind of mustard.
The Harvest Coarse Ground looks like it's mainly made up of seeds, and in applying it I understood how it got it's name. But when I tried it, I enjoyed the taste, as it was a more spicy version of the regular Grey Poupon mustard. But don't let that statement dissuade you. If you like regular Grey Poupon but want to kick it up a notch, then try the Harvest Coarse Ground.
The Hearty Spicy Ground is a lot smoother in both application and taste. It does have some properties of the regular Grey Poupon, but offers more of a taste sensation to be enjoyed when used. If you're wanting a more well-rounded taste in your mustards, then I would suggest using the Hearty Spicy Ground.
I am glad that they sent me both kinds, and I look forward to using more of both in the future.
