I missed the first half hour but watched the rest of a film on The Movie Channel called Life After Tomorrow. It's about interviewing the girls who played the orphans and titular role in the musical Annie. It's interesting learning how literal the phrase "life changing role" can be, not only for those girls but their families. Not only that, but them having to deal with the fallout and repurcussions of those changes, wondering if it was their fault somehow, not to mention when the limelight fades for them. Some even talk about dreaming about doing their roles. I know I still have dreams about doing old jobs from time to time.
They're doing a free preview weekend for Showtime and The Movie Channel, so the only chances to catch it are if you subscribe to either of those services: October 3rd at 9:05am or the 9th at 5:45pm on Showtime 2, and the 11th at 10:15am on Showtime or 1:15pm on Showtime West. All times are Eastern, and non-dish subscribers may be subject, so please, I beg of you, if you want to watch the show, check your listings.
