I hope this doesn't become a regular gig here, but after hearing he was waiting to hear for a lung transplant, Robert Goulet passed away. Mark Evanier has a good write up, with a promise of a joke when another entertainer passes that Goulet and the entertainer told about each other.
And it was in the local paper but I hadn't seen it online, but Porter Waggoner passed away. One thing mentioned (if not the thing mentioned) was that he gave Dolly Parton her first big exposure. At a dinner in 1980 she said that they parted in 1974 due to "creative differences. I was creative and he was different." she said jovially.
Sympathy to best wishes to their families and loved ones.
