One of the things that gets me through Mondays, the roughest day of the week in my line of work, is knowing that an episode of Robot Chicken is waiting on the TiVo. It's Twisted ToyFare Theatre from ToyFare magazine come to life, by one of the people involved (Matthew Seinreich?) and Seth Green. Yes, that Seth Green.
The episodes get better and better. Last Sunday's had "Twist Ending Theatre", where they take on The Crying Game, The Empire Strikes Back, The Village (echoing more or less what I said earlier) and Sleepaway Camp, even making a self-referential joke about it's obscurity. Also on hand was Beavis and Butthead joining the (cartoon) Teen Titans, and a Peanuts Great Pumpkin skit with satanic overtones.
Still on deck and looking forward to it: the Kill Bill skit with Jesus and Santa Claus playing the Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu parts.
Sunday late night on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim. Joe Bob says check it out!
Update: Franklin Harris wrote a review.
