This one potentially has a great deal more going for it, than the previous two, though. I'm expecting major reversals for the heroes (well, there has to be) and in general much the same feel that made The Empire Strikes Back the best of the Star Wars films to date. We'll not only see the rest of the spiritual fall of Anikin, but there'll be plenty of dramatic deaths for the key Jedi (aside from the few we know who survive for Episode 4) and we'll see Anikin take the physical damage that saw him physically reborn as Darth Vader. All a very desperate, dramatic time. They'd almost have to go out of their way to have this one stink.

What I'll be watching for will be to see if there are any surprises. We're so bound by knowledge of what's to come that it's tricky coming up with something that's a surprise but still "fits."

To a much lesser degree, I'm also wondering about little touches. As a small example, will they try to poke at the audience by taking perhaps the most despised of the character additions, Jar-Jar, and give him a hero's death? In theory it will give the most jaded something to cheer, but will play with the emotions of the rest.
