From the people that want to count Mickey D's as a manufacturing job: most of the new jobs created are part-time

Wil Wheaton has a piece he wrote about the 10th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. I remember reading the news on the 'net, just having gotten a computer and gotten online. Thing is, I'm spacing on what service I was on back then. I never went to AOHell, and it was before Compuserve. If I think of it, I'll post an update.
Update: it was Prodigy. Switched to Compuserve shortly after that, then went with a net provider out of Indianapolis, then via my local phone company. No more long distance charges for going online, Yay!

Just received word that Wonderfalls is cancelled. Darn shame, this was one of the shows on the TiVo I watched and enjoyed.
Here's a petition to get the DVDs released. I just signed it.

I'm here at the local library so I can listen to Air America while surfing and talking to you (although some aren't having luck listening or contacting them). Yesterday I hooked the laserdisc player back up so I could watch FM (a movie with a message that certain companies should take to heart) and Star Trek: First Contact (waiting for the future 2 disc special edition that they'll hopefully continue with the Next Gen films). I have Aladdin on deck to watch. I sorted the DVDs I was hoping to catch up on. Better, I'm trying to steer my thinking toward watching those discs, eating at restaurants, generally enjoying life while fighting through the working week.

Mike Norton wrote on April 3rd some stuff about Heroclix I wish I did. Thanks for the link of the new/retired Marvel figures. Right now, the thrill of collecting a la opening packs of cards to complete a set is all it's got going for it now.
I bought a dozen boosters last Wednesday, and 8 more on Saturday. On the uniques, got the General, Ultrahumanite, Superman, Batman, 2 Metallos and 3 Wonder Womans. Going to see about trading for the other uniques. Besides the Bat-Sentry (that everyone wants), mah most wanted are Shazam, Kilowog, and Magog. Anybody wanna trade?

Well, gang, I'm off to recharge the batteries before having to return to work on the 12th. Might post here, might not, isn't freedom wunnerful? Be good, if you can't be good, be careful; and if you can't be careful, name the kid after me, okay?

Before I go on hiatus, I got an idea inspired by Joe, also from an episode of Babylon 5.
Take advantage of the anonymity of the comments section to confess something, reveal something you've never told anyone else, get something off your chest, whatever.
Maybe if there's enough comments, I might slip in and post something, too.

Someone else has come forward to reveal that the Administration knew about the attack. Once again, important information is coming from overseas. Hopefully, we're closer to exposing them for what they are. It might explain why they're resorting to tactics like this.

Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, I'll be on a week's vacation. I can't wait. The plan is to kick back, take it easy, and catch up on DVDs and reading. There is a small side trip, where we'll be going to Louisville to see The Producers and stay at the Executive Inn, that was recommended by a co-worker.
I've been trying to keep the blog going until then, but work and personal burnout has been cutting into posting here. Hopefully, it'll get better upon my return.
