Any thumbnail reviews? Strong endoresements? Titles teetering on the brink of falling off your list?
I won't see that issue of BACK ISSUE for another week or so, I suspect, though I've enjoyed the magazine so far. I'm horribly behind on the FF, and I've let DD shift to collected editions only - I really enjoy Bendis' work there, but prefer to wait for the collections... and the rest aren't on my list. Has The Outsiders been living up to its early fan press? I've looked at Knights of the Dinner Table, but I'm missing what seems like the essential background connection of D&D or other roleplaying gaming. Re: Comics I Bought 4/21

Sorry for the delay in response, see my posting of 4/28 for reasons:
Arrowsmith/Astro City: Arrowsmith kinda flew over my head due to "waiting for the trade", and Astro City was it's usual excellence, and prelude to the next series. Back Issue is good because it mainly covers the 80s, that's stirring some nostalgia in me... FF isn't as interesting this time out: The Human Torch is feeling unliked, and turns to Spider-Man for advice. They're at a water park, where HydroMan, working as a guard is doing the "why don't you leave me alone, I'm not doing anything wrong" misunderstanding/attack. Disappointingly pedestrian. The Norm magazine is reprinting some early stuff, reminds me of getting some early albums of an artist you liked, and finding it still in the rough stages. Superman Secret Identity is worth getting the trade, if you haven't picked up the issues. Outsiders looks to be dropped, mainly due to personal finances squeeze than the title itself. The premise of supergroup stopping problems before they flare up is interesting. Judd Winick's okay, but I wish he'd do more Barry Ween Boy Genius. Like all of us, he has to pay the bills, cutting down on working on things we like to do. Knights of the Dinner Table: Although it's been a while since I role played, there's enough for me to jog my memory and derive from reading it to enjoy the game-related humor. But the main enjoyment is from the characters and their interaction. It'd be interesting to watch them just go fishing (in fact, their gamemaster tried to prod them to do to get some fresh air/see there's more to life than games, but they ended up jerry-rigging a game they could play on the boat) Thanks for your interest, Mike.
