Students for an Orwellian Society: Because 2004 is 20 years too late.
On a related note, the Secret Service was contacted about anti-Bush drawings done by a 15 year old.

The Onion AV Club has started a new feature Commentary Tracks of the Damned. Interesting to read such comments that Wrong Turn had fewer production problems "once we cut the necrophilia out of the script."

Batman 626
Caper 7 Conan 3 Harley and Ivy 1 Hogan's Alley 12 Phantom Jack 2 Steve Rude's The Moth 1 Superman 204 Ultimate Six #7 Ultimate Spider-man 57 Ultimate Fantastic Four 5 Wizard 152 Thumbnail thoughts: In the past, I didn't post any comments other than immediate impressions because I wanted to enjoy the books at my own pace. If I was going to do any reviews, it would be at my own pace and on my own terms. But since I was asked... Conan I just read the zero issue, haven't even gotten that far on Rude's Moth. I read the first Phantom Jack before getting the second one, it has my interest for now. Caper's running an interesting storyline started in issue 5, about a Hollywood lawyer defending an actor friend of killing his actress wife, who's hiding something, but won't say what. The Ultimate titles are okay, but us old-timers realize after reading them that the originals covered the same ground much quicker. With Wizard I find I'm becoming more like Grandpa in The Lost Boys, who got TV Guide but didn't have a TV, feeling it was sufficient. Really no need to get most of the mainstream comics. On the other hand, Hogan's Alley is one of those magazines like Comics Journal you can spend hours perusing. All sorts of interesting info about comic strips and animation. Everything else I haven't got to yet.

Sorry for no posts the past few days, I've been out sick from work (darn temperature changes) and having to catch up now. Also, I've misplaced my cell phone that I'm 95% certain fell out of my jacket pocket by the table I leave it at, but didn't have time to look for, so I'm worried about finding it, or paying through the nose to replace it, so it might be awhile before I get back up to speed.

Apparently the rumors of Wonderfalls being picked up by the WB was just that.
