My mind doesn't generally run for the Western references at first. I doubt I'd even know who Hoot was if it weren't for watching the Beverly Hillbillies, since several episodes revolved around Granny's familiarity only with Hollywood fare of the silent era -- those being the latest movies to be playing at the Bijou in Bugtussle.

No, my first impulse would've taken me to Henry Gibson... who, come to think of it, once guest-starred on the Beverly Hillbillies. Why, it's turned into a six stages of separation game!
